First FiRP^®  Glulam beams produced and erected in Europe (1999).

The beams for this spectacular structure (80 m x 60 m) were fabricated in Arbon, Switzerland, by ZÖLLIG AG, a member of the HÄRING Group.  They were the largest FiRP^® Glulam beams ever produced in the world (35 m x 1886 mm x 180 mm) at the time.  

The FiRP® Reinforcement used in the beams is 3 layers of Aramid Reinforced Plastic (ARP) at the location of the maximum moments.
